Today is International Workers Memorial Day, and this year will be marked with a minute’s silence at 11.00am.
At this time, the country will fall silent to pay tribute to the sacrifice made by so many workers during the pandemic, to remember those who’ve sadly lost their lives, and to thank all those who continue to do vital work keeping public services running.
