It’s fish and chips for some of our VIP’s today followed by lemon drizzle cake.
Thanks to Nigel at the Waterfront who has again supplied and cooked the main meal.
What absolute superchefs we have on our cooking team.
We’re so lucky here in Pewsey to have such caring and dedicated individuals.
Without them and the support of our local businesses there would be a lot more vulnerable and worried members of our community out there.
Having a nutritious and delicious home cooked meal is invaluable to some of our VIP’s right now.
Not only does it help with their diet but it is mentally uplifting too, to know that there are people out there who care and who are looking out for each other.
As people are starting back to work we are losing some of our volunteers and today we say a fond farewell to Colin of Pewsey Coaches.
Colin and Pewsey Coaches have been on hand from the start from delivering prescriptions to delivering the freshly cooked meals.
We’re sad to see them go but glad they have a positive exit with work picking up.
And don’t fear! We have other volunteers who have stepped in to help with deliveries.
Thanks Colin. Best Wishes xxx
