The basic map reading course with Simon Ellis is proving very popular.

The course is over 3 days, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week 23rd-25th July.
There will be 2 theory lessons followed by a practical session in our local area on Saturday.
The theory sessions will take place at the Bouverie Hall and you can book an afternoon slot 2-3.30, or evening 6-7.30.
The practical sessions are going to be 10-12 and 3-5 on Saturday 25th.
This introduction to map reading is provided for free and is suitable for ages 11 onwards and requires basic fitness.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
It’s a good way to get out again socially in a safe and friendly environment, except using both body and mind.
All maps and compasses will be provided, just please wear suitable clothing!
