Food, Glorious Food …

PCA Daily News

Lots of foodstuffs going on again this weekend.

Some of our VIP’s received a delicious potato gratin with peppers, onions and tomatoes today.

Our new cooks are really getting involved and helping some of our community get a nutritious, balanced meal.

And tomorrow is our second outdoor community market and Friendship Cafe.

After a successful first attempt we are happy to be continuing with this service.

The fruit and veg stall proved popular last week, along with a complimentary cup of tea and cake.

It was really nice to see many of our VIP’s out and about and enjoying a chat and a cuppa with friends and volunteers.

Let’s hope the weather is kind to us again tomorrow, as we hope to see you all down at the scout hut on Aston Close for some socially distanced shopping and cake!

With thanks again to Little Vegan Boutique for providing some tasty cupcakes, Carol Parsons and the Carnival Committee for the loan of the marquees and also Nigel Lihou and the Scout Association for the location.
