We’ve had a busy week down at PCCA and it’s all gearing up for the weekend!
Our cooking team made a heartwarming sausage and bean casserole that went out to some of our VIP’s today.
And we’ve had volunteers running lots of errands getting things ready for our first outdoor community market which will be held tomorrow..
This week is for our registered VIP’s only and is going to be held from 9am in the garden of the scout hut. We are so grateful to the scouts association for the temporary use of their HQ in Pewsey.
Also thanks so much to Carol Parsons and the carnival committee for the loan of their marquees.
The aim is to encourage our VIP’s to come along and as well as getting their fruit and veg they can enjoy a cuppa and a piece of cake.
For some, who’ve been in isolation since March, getting out and about is a big deal, so we want to help them start reconnecting again in an environment they can feel safe in.
It won’t be crowded and there will be people on hand to listen to any concerns they have and to let them know of other services and activities they may be interested in to help them start socialising again.
We’re here continuing to help our community, with lots of exciting projects coming up.
If you want to get involved, or need to ask us anything you can find us Mon- Fri between 9-1 at the scout hut, or you can give us a call on 01672 487022.
Have a good weekend!
