Well that was a surprise in the post!
A thank you from the Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire to all of the volunteers who have been involved with PCCA .
Our volunteers have worked very hard 7 days a week to help our community through this pandemic and they continue to do so, offering support and a friendly ear to all who need it.
Pewsey Friendship Cafe and the community market are proving to be very popular and provide a space for some of our town residents to stay socially connected.
The cooking team provides nutritious and varied home cooked meals every week to some of our more vulnerable neighbours and to those who are still shielding who may not always feel inclined to cook themselves a proper meal.
Mental health and good nutrition go hand in hand, and the recipients of these meals look forward to seeing the delivery drivers every Friday. And our mini fruit and veg market is affordable to all.
Our community library is also a hit, especially as our own Pewsey Library isn’t opened yet.
Hands on volunteers are worth their weight in gold and deserve all the thanks and appreciation.
If you feel you could offer some of your time to help keep our community connected then please drop us a line at ourpca.uk.
