National Lockdown News

PCA Daily News

We’ve been busy since Christmas with the 2nd national lockdown announced on Jan 4th. Some of our services have been reinforced such as the Buddy Crew and BURP boxes (Basic Universal Resource Packs).

Pewsey Friendship Cafe has had to temporarily close but our aim is still to help keep our community connected, safe and well. We have continued to supply nutritious home cooked food to some of our VIP’s every week, and have been delivering fresh fruit and veg from our Community Market.

The Library has seen an increase in demand too, with books, puzzles, games and toys being ordered online: ourpca.uk/library and via our phoneline: 01672 487022.

As more people are finding themselves with loss of income due to the current lockdown restrictions we are trying to make sure that households can put food and essential goods on their tables.

People who are struggling can register here at ourpca.uk, phone 01672 487022 or email food@ourpca.uk. There is a team of volunteers dedicated to this, delivering parcels weekly.

Our buddy crew is also picking up requests from members of our community and more volunteers are coming forward to help with this too. If you, or anyone you know might want a friendly chat with someone you can register here at ourpca.uk, phone 01672 487022 or email buddy@ourpca.uk and we will try and match you with a likeminded buddy for a natter over the phone.

If you want to volunteer you can register here at ourpca.uk, likewise if you think you may need any of our services you can register here at ourpca.uk.

Stay Safe. Stay Connected.
