Our volunteers have been busy making up BURP (Basic Universal Resource Plan) boxes today and delivering to those who are struggling to get essential groceries due to substantial drops in household income during these latest lockdown restrictions.
These are hopefully temporary solutions as we find ways to support ourselves through this pandemic. Times are very hard for many, and the worry of no food can heighten our negative emotions.
Most of us are in it together, and the way our community continues to rally round is uplifting. Our Co-op have again been very generous donating milk, eggs and mincemeat.
If you’re finding it difficult PCCA may be able to help.
