Autumnal Vibes…

We’ve been quiet on here for a while, but behind the scenes it’s been all go.

We’ve had a great response from individuals and businesses so far in renovating our new HQ double decker bus.

There’s been lots of progress in installing the cold store, kitchen, gas and battery stores.

We still require some help with our solar energy installation. We have all of the equipment and even electrical designs of how it can be operated but would welcome any help from professional solar fitters with a working knowledge of installing panels on a moving vehicle.

We are also on the lookout for some vinyl floor covering.

If you feel you can help with any of this then please email together@ourpca.uk. We are seeing this project so close to completion.

Our services are crucial to some members of our community and once the bus is up and running we can deliver a whole lot more.

The coming months will be seeing a whole new lot of problems for many of us as the cost of living is increasing and the weather becomes harsher. Our services can help relieve some of these daily stresses and struggles.

Our Pantry Packs have become the latest development of existing services, which people can access through our website ourpca.uk, or by phoning 01672 487022. These are monthly non-perishables for people who are struggling but may not be entitled to or are already accessing help from govt. With the hike in utilities and basic food stuffs there will be increased demand for help putting food on the table. Saturday mornings Community Market offers fresh fruit and veg for a donation. This operates from Wesley Hall between 10-12 and you can also treat yourself to a cuppa and a slice of cake. We’re here to help where we can.

If you are in a position to help, we have a donations box at the local Co-op for non-perishables (we have lots of beans at the moment), or you can make a monetary donation straight into our bank at https://ourpca.uk/donate.

Volunteers are also most welcome – we never have enough!! Volunteer here at ourpca.uk
